I thought you might be interested in some easy birding done by the North Okanagan Naturalists' Club. We are
located in the Okanagan Valley, in the Province of British Columbia in Canada. We refer to ourselves as
NONC and our website is www.nonc.ca ;it is fairly new but outlines our weekend birding outings on alternate
Saturdays and Sundays...the schedule is in our Newspacket and some of the outings have been written up in
our on-line Newspacket complete with photos. Because many of our birders are elderly we bird by car and
only do short, easy jaunts from the cars. We try to stay in touch by General Service Radio but that doesn't
always work as you will see from some of the write-ups. Socializing is a big part of what we do so lunch
following an outing is part of the experience. We gladly welcome newcomers. So check us out and if you are in
the neighbourhood some weekend, feel free to join us and get honked at as we stop alongside roads
wherever an interesting bird shows up.
