We were added to the birding trail last year. (2008)

We have a wheelchair accessible sidewalk that is about a mile through the park. It is a hot and sunny
place, wear sunscreen and a hat and bring water.

Unfortunately we do not have benches along the concrete trail as of yet, but the restrooms near out
recreational facilities are accessible.

There is limited viewing by car as it loops past the recreational facilities and two ponds, but you will see
our yearly osprey residents (since 2003) that nest on the second high electrical tower.

There is also a small scrub bald area beneath along the sidewalk that has some protected species of
plants and our protected gopfher tortoises.

We do have local birders who help keep up our bird list which you can request at the office.
